Kihiline peedi-heeringasalat ehk Kasukas
Kasuka salat on meie pidulaual sama klassikaline kui kartulisalat või rosolje. Seetõttu miks mitte valmistada seekord Vabariigi sünnipäevalauale pidulik kihiline salat heeringa ja köögiviljadega.
Kasuka valmistamisel lähtub iga perenaine oma retseptist ning koostisosade ja nende järjekorraga võib varieerida, kuid peedi soovitan siiski põhja panna, sest muidu hakkab peet vettima ja annab värvi. Köögiviljadest eelistan riivida vaid keedetud peedi, ülejäänud koostisained hakin võimalikult väikeseks, muidu jääb tekstuur liiga pudrune.
Salati võib valmistada portsjonitena pokaalidesse või suures klaaskausis.
KIHILINE PEEDI-HEERINGASALAT EHK KASUKAS
6 sööjale
4 keedetud porgandit
4 keedetud kartulit
2 suuremat keedetud peeti
4 keedetud muna
5-6 marineeritud kurki
200 g heeringafileed
peotäis rohelist sibulat
200 g hapukoort
200 g majoneesi
soola
musta pipart
Haki keedetud porgandid ja kartulid. Riivi peet jämeda riiviga. Haki munad, marineeritud kurk ja heeringafilee. Kastmeks sega hapukoor ja majonees. Maitsesta soola ja pipraga. Lao koostisained kihiti pokaalidesse või 2-liitrisesse klaaskaussi alustades riivitud peediga, seejärel porgand, kartul, heeringas, hakitud roheline sibul, marineeritud kurk, muna ja viimasena kaste. Tõsta salat paariks tunniks jahedasse maitsestuma.
